Day 240- Faux Queen

Last night was my first time doing Amature Drag and i did great. got lots of praise for my performance, which feels really good especially since it is somewhat new territory for me and i do not want to step on and "toes". having acceptance from the drag community is a big deal!

yes....i am female. the type of drag i do is called Faux Queen. the easiest way to explain it is - a woman impersonating a drag queen. i do my make-up more exagerated than i would an a every day basis or even a going out basis. more contouring of the cheek bones, forehead, eyes and big false lashes. I also have a bra that gives me 2-3 cup sizes on what i am as well and panty hose are my friend.... they hold al my curves in the right places.

i have gotten a lot of my dresses & shoes at goodwill, value village and other local thrift stores. most dresses i pay $5-$16 and shoes for $3-$5!

before when i would go to thrift stores i would not be able to find much in my size that i liked..... now i can find a lot!

i love getting a dressed up fancy and performing in front of others. i have always loved performing and have been doing so since i was 4. and since there is not really an outlet for women to dance around and lip sync and perform..... this is my way of doing that.

I was asked a couple times on that nite if i was male or female, which i find amazing! i think it is great that they can't decifer 100% on what gender i am.... i guess that means i do a pretty goot job at my make-up.
