As I was doing my work i got a call from one of my supervisors saying that a "little Birdy" told her that i called in sick to go to seattle. so i informed her that the little birdy was very wron in what they supposivly heard and told her what actually happened and left it at that.
of course that messed with my head a bit and upset me..... who would go to her and say something that had no basis behind it. true i had planned on going to seattle that weekend to visit my family, but in no way had i seriously planned on calling in sick just to get a jump on the traffic. ugh!
on my break i usually check my facebook. when i was seeing what everyone was up to on FB i saw my auts post about November 1 being the day to honor the dead and that her aunts Grace & Johnna had both passed in the last month. this was news to me!!! why did no one tell me???? that upset me even more..... it was not a good day.
Then i had to go to a mandetory paid meeting after work where the gal talked about the history of the company that purchased us and they philosophy, etc. when she mentioned about how the company cares about its employees i really wanted to get up and walk out because i had not felt that "care" earlier that day.
even though i was majorly emotional and stressed out i stayed on my eating plan and focused on drinking my water to fill the void.
