it can be inexpensive and healthy :)
1 lb ground beef or turkey (or mix the two)
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1/2 c uncooked oatmeal
2 Tbls salt free seasonings (i prefer Mrs Dash)
Mix/fold those ingredients together
then add cut up veges.... doesn't matter what kind
veges we have used in the past- mushroom, peppers (green/red/orange), onion, zucchini, carrots, potato.
you do not need to cover grease your pan (we use a bread pan or a casserole dish)
350 degrees in the oven for 45-60 mins
i like to eat mine over a plain baked red potato :)
it freezes good too!!!
