Day 164- Recipe Friday: Basic Blender Salsa

I have some whol wheat pit bread that i need to eat soon, so i was thinking about cutting it up and baking it and eating it with this......

Blendar Salsa!!!!
  • 4 ripe roma tomatoes
  • 1 jalepeno, seeds removed
  • 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
  • Dash of pepper
1   Combine tomato, jalepeno, onion, cilantro, lime juice and olive oil in the blender on the pulse setting. If like your salsa chunky, just a couple of pulses will do at this point.

2 Add chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper and pulse a couple more times. Taste the salsa at this point to see if more salt is needed.

3  Remove salsa from blender and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
